SDCI Fellows Course Applications
TARGET AUDIENCE
The course is intended for current Interventional Cardiology Fellows and 3rd year General Cardiology Fellows planning to enter into an Interventional Cardiology program.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
- Internationally acclaimed faculty will present techniques for approaching complex and high-risk coronary interventional procedures
- Contemporary approach to calcified coronary lesions
- Intravascular coronary imaging for optimal PCI outcomes
- Case based examples for managing interventional complications
- Understand the utility of hemodynamic support for high-risk coronary interventions
- Review the basics of coronary balloon angioplasty and an approach to lesion preparation prior to using coronary drug eluting balloons to prevent restenosis
- Evaluating and incorporating updated approaches to carotid interventions
- Identifying patients with uncontrolled hypertension and incorporating renal denervation
- New techniques and outcomes for structural heart interventions
